Inova


Inova Semiconductors is a fabless semiconductor company and the developer of APIX. APIX (Automotive Pixel Link) is a high-speed Gigabit multichannel Serializer/Deserializer (SerDes) technology to interconnect displays, cameras and control units over a single cable. Its focus is the automotive market. Based in Germany, Inova was founded in 1999. Today, 12 leading car manufacturers and more than 35 tier 1 suppliers all over the world using APIX today. More than 75 Million APIX nodes are in use in cars worldwide.

Meeting the highest automotive EMI requirements, APIX can establish multiple links with a scalable bandwidth of up to several Gbps, over QTP, STP or CoaX cables. End of 2016 Inova Semiconductors announced the ISELED open Alliance and the entrance into the market for ambient lighting in automotive applications. ISELED is a revolutionizing and award winning concept by integrating a Smart RGB controller chip into an LED module, which can be daisychained and full duplex controlled. With this LED binning classes can be abolished and also LED systems will have a significant system cost reduction.
